Ryan Yingst is an indie rock artist seeking to push the boundaries of traditional genre definitions. By blending ideas of jazz, rock, folk, and r&b, Ryan creates original works that carry the sounds of a classic. As a new artist, Ryan continues to develop his sound and piece together the sum of his influences to make sure that no two shows are quite the same. After developing his craft at Duquesne University’s Mary Pappert School of Music, Ryan took to the studio, working as a producer and engineer for Plus Minus Recording in Pittsburgh before taking the to the road to tour in a series of bands and entertainment projects across the country. Following this, Ryan developed his own songwriting and began performing as a frontman for his solo project before releasing his debut solo album “Bar Rings” in 2020, followed by the ”Meditations on Empty Streets” EP and “Live at +/-” double single in 2021.

Now with a local band of Nashville pros and an arsenal of material developed over a year of heavy solo performing all over the city, Ryan brings his, and other’s, music to life like never before!
